I think the more likely scenario is that we'll never know. It might end up being the same model of boat, but Michael's boat was never established to have any distinctive qualities that would make it recognizable from all other boats of the same model.

I really want there to be a point in the game where Michael comes around and repossesses his boat with Franklin and Rickie because they tracked Jason. Bring it all back around to Michael and Franklin’s first meeting and also Michael knowing Rickie can be useful to him for once.

I reckon it won't be directly confirmed but Jason will probably nonchalantly bring up a past story while drinking with a buddy, like "dude remember when we stole that boat as teens? the owner was so pissed, the son was a moron." Then they laugh and move onto a different topic 😅
