Homeless shelters and food banks. I work for a non profit that is both. They’ve lost federal funding. Food is scarce, low quality, and always being recalled. Shelters are full. Or they’re broke and closing.

Mechanic friend said more and more car parts are being made in plastic and the heat from the engine burns through the parts meaning more and more visits in to the dealer to replace those parts.

Manufacturing is one, I say that because I’ve been in manufacturing for over 20 years and yes, there’s always been that simplified the job but you need qualified technician runner or Moore. We’re hiring somebody off the street in 10 minutes training and troubleshooting, and I’m telling them to run it. With a rise of fully automated for all you do is push the button for the process to be done. It takes less people to run those new sheets because you only need one operator per machine. Whereas before you may be too operators at state, and sometimes you can heave one operator who is running multiple machines at once

Translation. I got my masters from the country’s top translation school. Got about 5 years in my career before AI ended it. I feel like a weaver in 1899 at the invention of the automatic loom. Also - that translation school (Monterey Institute) closed. It was founded in 1955 and was a key funnel to the state department.
