for those who asked me why i didn’t say anything, i wanted to keep it an open space for those who were directly affected to speak up. (african american nctzen) because the last thing we need is another yt person speaking in the place of african american people!!!!! i wanted to speak up in the moment but i knew it wasn’t my place. at the end of the day i still have a platform so this is what i think : what he did was truly disgusting, i don’t think he ‘didn’t know’ the meaning or history of the flag and even if he didn’t, he’s a public figure and needs to watch out for these things. plus in his apology he never said anything about not knowing the context behind that hateful flag. but yea again, horrible and disgusting and i really doubt ill ever support him in the future. that’s all i have to say.. i truly looked up to him. too bad he’s maga lee now… #marklee #nct #nctzen #mariswichu #mark
