***SPOILER DO NOT READ IF YOU DONT WANT IT SPOILED***My biggest issue is with how ruthless Jean Grey was with killing or endangering innocent people a few times throughout the movie, specifically before you know it’s her. Sure she’s enraged about the incident but she doesn’t know what happened to her sister yet and even before she has her revelation through Peters mind, she seems a lot more reserved with killing people once you know it’s her. I get that they were trying to really paint her as evil to get the audience invested in the mystery, but once it’s revealed, they make her more relatable and “good” since we now know it’s Jean Grey who is a good guy (for a lot of the comics).

people got mad that mj couldn't remember but like thats how the spell works!!!!! ofc she didn't remember why would she feel anything without those memories. his kindness towards her afterwards is what made her start to feel something

I teared up when Frank hit spider-man. Not bc peter was hurt, but bc the punisher hurt one of the only ppl he is closest to. It hurt frank more than it hurt Peter and I think him almost killing his only friend will make Frank stop killing.

The highest compliment I can give this film is that I had the same feeling of joy and wonder I get from reading Spider-Man comics or watching the cartoon as a kid. It was Amazing! Spectacular! Sensational! The world felt lived in and the action was dynamic. The colors popped and the quiet intimate moments hit like a Spider-Man story should.

I liked the movie, but it felt a bit out of place. Like why was suddenly a mutant in the universe when they've been unheard of? Jean being the sort of vilian for a SPIDERMAN movie didn't really make sense to me. And there were a lot of things left unexplained. Especially with Peter's relationship with frank. How did they meet? For how long? What happened on Staten Island? And we didn't even get anything about sarah just that she also was a telepath and didn't even show us her being experimented on or even her death scene.
