Only it won’t in most cases. Even if they haven’t turned that off (which most do immediately) it listens and learns the wearer’s voice. So someone not wearing them won’t trigger it, usually.

They could do passive recording like what PlayStation controller mic does, where it records all the time so it captures the past few seconds when you hit she share button.

so if a cop is throwing a latina women in the back of a van and i’m afraid to pull my phone out of my pocket out of fear of being shot…should i just take my meta glasses off and stomp them out? because i see more use for them as a way to record cops then it is to randomly record people.
