Not to be rude personally me as a teenager I struggle with keeping my room clean and if I don’t wanna do something, I physically can’t like I can’t do something that I don’t want to do it because I’m mental health issues or whatever but that’s just me

So I’m not being rude but I’m almost a teen I’ve had a phone since I was 9 and I struggle keeping my room clean with how depressed I am and how much anxiety I have and over thinking I do I can barely keep my room clean.With how much family issues I have and how I can barely get up for school and how I come home from school so unhappy.So that’s why I lay around and my room is never clean I can’t bring myself to. And don’t go in my reply’s saying “oh well you could just force yourself” or whatever you don’t get to do that you don’t know how hard my life is since I was 9 you don’t get to say anything like that if you haven’t lived in my type of situation

YES YES YES. We host exchange students and let me tell you… the kids whose parents have boundaries and rules and consequences their kids succeed and flourish on their exchange. The kids whose parents don’t enforce them struggle… sometimes getting sent home early and their parents lose the $20k+ they spent… they miss out on a lot of activities….. we can tell the first few weeks they get here how it works at home for them based on how they adapt and handle themselves. It’s really made us realize how we want to parent our kids (and not parent them in some ways).

That’s how my teens earn their game time and stuff they clean their rooms and they each have a couple chores never an argument they get it done they are 19 16 and 13❤️❤️
