Sony gives a warranty on there consoles/controllers for 2 years for free and if device breaks and sent back they renew the warranty for free

playstation also give you a year warranty and they’ll “fix” your controller for free by giving you a new controller where they’ll give you 3 extra months of warranty, that’s what i do
