🔥 LAZY GIRL COOKS – Episode 1 10 Minute Pressure Cooker Biryani 🍗🍚 Ingredients (4–5 servings): * 750g chicken (bone-in) * 2 medium onions * 2 medium tomatoes * 8–10 garlic cloves * 3–4 green chillies * 1 cup yogurt * 1 packet (50g) biryani masala * 2 medium potatoes (optional) * Salt (only if needed) * ½ cup water (only if your cooker needs it) For the rice: * 500g (about 2½ cups) basmati rice * Water for boiling * 1 tbsp salt * Whole spices (optional): 2 bay leaves, 4 green cardamoms, 4 cloves, 1 small cinnamon stick Method: 1. Blend together onions, tomatoes, garlic, green chillies and yogurt until smooth. 2. Add the blended mixture to the pressure cooker, biryani masala, chicken and potatoes. 3. Pressure cook for 3–4 minutes after pressure builds (timing may vary depending on your cooker). 4. Meanwhile, boil the rice until about 70–80% cooked. 5. Open the cooker. If there’s extra liquid, cook uncovered for a few minutes until the gravy thickens. 6. Layer the rice over the chicken, sprinkle a little food colour or saffron milk if you like, cover and give it a 10–15 minute dum on low heat. Bas. Biryani ready. 😌 Restaurant-level taste with almost no mehnat.
