You aren’t something carrying consciousness. Ultimately when you peel every layer, you see that everything you thought you were was merely impermanent happenings arising in this consciousness, which is what we ultimately are. As long as you think or believe that consciousness is something IN you, you will identify with thought, or the body, or nature, etc — perpetuating a separation in your psyche as the observer and the observed, the thinker and the thought, which are not really separate at all, and which are all things arising IN you — consciousness.

Interesting concept, but that conclusion is just human ego at work again. Pretending the universe was just waiting for humans and their religion completely ignores billions of years of conscious animal life and nature that existed, felt, and perceived long before us. Consciousness isn't a human privilege, nor is it the property of any dogma. 🌿🐾
