This isn’t indias crazy law. What he’s describing is actually against the law in India. Discriminating based on someone’s caste is illegal in India but definitely still happens pretty frequently because the caste system is so deeply rooted in Indian society and was for so long that stopping it isn’t as simple as just passing a law
