My uncle put this on the tv while I was home and then he went back to his place so I was low-key curious what he was watching and figured out it was peak 🥹

I was born in 2002 and it aired in 2005, avatar has been my life before i could form competent sentences. my mom watched it all the time in the living room back when nickelodeon had the commercials in the office building with the guy in the spongebob suit running around cubicles. I have seen every single episode countless times in countless different orders. Every rerun, every directors commentary bubble, i remember staying up way past my bedtime as the sozins comet timer slowly ticked down to zero, i have multiple box set discs of the series including the 15 year anniversary steel book box set and the kiyoshi books, i am eventually going to get the comics and the rest of the novels. This series is integral to my child hood and upbringing and has completely shaped who i am today and a couple months ago i got my daughter started on it and she loved every second. atla is one of the most influential pieces of media of all time
