I know that life is full of tests and trials and Allah is giving those to us to teach us that life has its ups and downs and to fully rely on Him, but for you to say that "sit us down to break us and humble us"??!, Allah is the most merciful, what you said defies all the names He named Himself. encourage people to have sabr and trust Him, the lessons He is teaching us, to be able to live and thrive, to stay positive. He doesn't want to hurt us at all nor make us miserable, He wants the best for us. He swt said in the Quran: "Allah doesn't burden a soul beyond it can bear"
