The thing with fighting games like this is the gameplay just needs to be solid and a player base will form. Like dbfz had so many non dragon ball fans join and now it’s one of the greatest fighting games ever

Smaller fighting games have always been apart of the legacy. They allow us as fans to engage with something whacky and different in between big releases, like a SF, MK, Tekken or Guilty Gear. I always want more of these games because they’re always dumb fun to learn and they always have small communities who love said games. (I do agree the prices of some of them are egregious.)
