Susan Nakawukyi continues her fam tour across the country and today’s adventure takes us deep into one of Uganda’s most magical natural treasures, a nature walk through the ancient Bwindi rainforest to discover the spectacular Muyaga Water Falls. This 5km trek is a 4-hour round trip filled with unforgettable experiences. Every step reveals a new wonder, from fascinating historical sites and dramatic rock formations to unique medicinal trees, breathtaking landscapes and the thrill of hiking through one of the world’s most iconic forests. 🥾 The highlight? The magnificent Muyaga Falls, fed by the Miyaga River. The river’s journey begins from Ishasha, flows onward to Lake Edward and eventually connects to the mighty Nile system, a reminder of how deeply connected Uganda’s natural wonders truly are.
