my 6 weeks check up I was told everything looked good and I was good to go...well my husband said he felt somthing pointy 😳 oh hell no, I checked myself and felt alllll the stitches and the end knotted piece was sticking up. went back to the dr none of my stitches dissolved but she didnt see them when the looked bc they were blue then went to clear so she thought they were gone...nope! 1 hour of legs up...feel and cut later it was all out but I had to wait 3 more weeks to make sure it heals bc of infection. it was fine after that and fyi not sure if its normal for having a cuff but my insides are super sensitive 🙃 (not in a bad way)🤣

I'm 7 weeks. The doctor told me 12 weeks before fun times but I did end up sepsis at week one and the infection sadly was at the cuff and they also found a hematoma on my right ovary. hematoma is sadly still there but it is smaller than it was. I spotted the first two days then nothing since. Feel about 60 percent back. I am back to work and get pelvic pressure and lower back/abdominal cramping. I am on my feet 10+ hours but sit when I can. My heating pad is still my best friend lol. Glad you had a pretty good experience with yours. Hope your recovery continues going well. It's nice hearing the good and not so good experiences. Everyone is different and the more prepared you can be from every side is good information to have.

My doctor will not clear me for intimate time for 12 weeks, Im five weeks feel great he cleared me for all other restrictions though just so strange how some doctors says it’s ok after 6 weeks and others are very strict with 12 I’m not chancing a relapse so 12 it is.

I hope your appointment went well and dr gave you the clear.. im 7 weeks here got the clear still see some pinkish on some wipes.. Dr said its normal and can happen up to 12 weeks

My bleeding was very minimal and I had an abdominal hysterectomy. I feel like my recovery has been a lot smoother than I expected. Please keep us posted with how your visit goes. Praying all goes well

I did not take pain meds and I feel that helped with my recovery, I’m on day 8 post hysterectomy and feel good, just a little tired but good 😊

I did not the go ahead at 6 weeks my cuff was still healing. So told me nothing inside for about 2 more months and on my way I went. Lol. I’m ok with it because I’m nervous about the cuff

I’m only 5 days out. I feel okay but I am starting to get these vaginal spasms now. I didn’t bleed. I am worried once I run out of pain meds. My pain is like 5/10.
