I never heard the SR71 tale before, I did know about U2 intercepts where they would climb up and fly with them for a minute or two. I do believe XR773 was one that did the U2 intercepts and I think she is still preserved. Also my dude you never told the tale of the Concorde intercepts (again with XR773&774) where they flew against a F15, F16, F14 and F104 and was the only one that could catch Concorde on a stern intercept
