I thank this man but I don't think it has to do with waec. it started with the Introduction of free SHS when the government prioritize public schools and started marking them with different scores.

What do you expect? Some private schools are more interested in needless graduation ceremonies, choreography, social media presence etc to the detriment of strengthening core curricula and varying teaching, learning and assessment processes to conform to requirements of the new curriculum.

This guy really monitored the system. Parents now move their wards to a public school if they get to basic 7 or 8 because of this issue.
WAEC is now favoring the public schools.
I was in Ghanata last 2 years and saw the placement board. A student from a public school had aggregate 47 and was placed there. A student in a private school with such a grade would have " self placement".

some parents because of this issue now move their wards from private schools to government schools when they get to JHS 2 so they write the BECE as government school students and get a fair marking.
