We can sit for 90 minutes watching football. We can spend hours gaming, scrolling social media, sitting in restaurants or cafés with friends. Yet five prayers, which together take less than 30 minutes in an entire day, feel like too much. The One who created you. The One who provides for you. The One who has protected you every day of your life. The One before whom you will stand on the Day of Judgement… Does He not deserve those few moments? If you’ve reached adulthood and still neglect your Salah, don’t make excuses—make Tawbah. Every Adhān is Allah inviting you back to Him. Every missed prayer is an opportunity lost. Don’t let this dunya distract you from the very purpose for which you were created. Start with the next prayer.
