Listening to music made for everyone is extremely different then having a quince which is an old tradition with significant meaning. Chicano culture is not just music it’s so much more than that. And I know ppl always say black started gold jewelry but hispanics wear gold since infancy for protection from evil that’s why u see babies with the gold bracelets it’s a tradition.

There’s a much bigger reality than arguing over whose culture belongs to whom. Black and brown communities are both being persecuted by the same forces, yet here we are fighting over a quinceañera.
