@samajwadisingh: Frantz Fanon and Bhagat Singh, two revolutionary anti-colonial thinkers, arrived at similar conclusions of the path for national liberation. In “The Wretched of the Earth,” Fanon discusses how if the national bourgeois in a new independent colony takes power from the Europeans, they will be the intermediary of capitalism in the form of neocolonialism. Similarly, in Bhagat Singh’s “To Young Political Workers” right before his death, he warned against replacing British capitalists with Indian capitalists, and in order for true liberation to occur they must pursue a revolution against the capitalists regardless of their nationality. Fanon and Singh wrote decades apart, in different continents, with the same idea. And today, we see their warnings were indeed correct. #frantzfanon #bhagatsingh #colonialism #marxism
