question: if the court has already ruled that there is no settlement because there was no case here, since there were no adversarial parties, why are they still in a courtroom? shouldn't the judge just refuse to hear further arguments?

It's going to be an up hill battle for Trump and his lawyers. Overturning a trial judge's factual findings of "collusion" and professional sanctions against legal representation requires proving a clear abuse of discretion, making reversal statistically difficult on appeal.

I just don't get it. the IRS illegally leaked his tax returns. if they don't want to do it the way he wants, what is the alternative? this is just dumb. all that's going to happen is that this is gonna get kicked down the road until after the midterms and they will just pass this. it's funny how these lower judges like to find ways to make their judgments about their feelings rather than the practical law. Trump got severely violated by the IRS, there's no question about it. the judge just doesn't like the settlement, so what? just more "spirit of aloha" 🤦🏽♂️. I can't wait for this administration to start charging everyone who helped Fauci commit his crimes and subpoena him to testify against everyone. also, many states will start investigating Fauci for state charges and maybe people can sue him in civil court for his misleading public statements. justice is coming 👍
