mine ruptured and the hospital didn't take my pain seriously enough as I lay on the waiting room floor SCREAMING in pain and vomiting all over myself. Finally they took me back, found out it was spreading infection in my body and if they had waited any longer, I would have died on that floor 🙃

This happened to my brother and he was in severe pain. His appendix erupted and they almost got to it late and he even died for 5 mins during surgery.

That happened to me when I was 11 I thought it was period cramps or some kind of bug because I had gotten a yearly check up the day before she said if was probably a stomach bug next day it hurt so bad I couldn’t sleep mine ended up rupturing around then I swear I almost didn’t tell my mom about it if I didn’t I’d probably be dead…😭 the most painful thing that they did was the if fluids they were so cold no matter how many blankets I put on I was still cold from the inside

for me I could have swore I had a UTI cuz I hurt to pee my appendix was about to burst. for my son it was a stomach ache and stomach pain for 4 days so bad that he couldn't stand everybody's different and it all depends on how much pain you can tolerate

Mine was just a dull pain. That’s it. I thought it was a uti and we found out it was my appendix

I was 30 weeks pregnant when my appendix decided to rupture! My daughter who i was pregnant with at the time actually saved my life. My pain tolerance is scary high, and I too thought oh its just normal stomach issues I have or braxton hicks. I can deal with this and it will go away. It was ruptured 2 days prior to when I went into the hospital and they found it was my appendix. Her pushing on my appendix kept everything from oozing out and making me go septic. The surgeon told us it was the worst case hes ever seen. 😅 I’m so glad to see you are recovering well though! Definitely more painful recovering than the actual appendicitis pain, i will agree with that!

I was a kid when mine happened in the middle of the night. I was so bloated and in pain I thought I was constipated 😭😭 after a few hours of no improvement my family took me to the ER and very much had appendicitis

I had mine taken out at 19 & it was PRE-laparoscopy surgeries. They had to cut thru all my abdomen muscles & that was tough. I hope you are doing better. Good luck wishes to you. (Ya, the ultrasound pushes over the area were rough!) Good luck w/ recovery!

I had Peritonitis because it burst, I was 10. Awful. Glad you are getting better.

I had it removed too, same symptoms you had. On the way to the ER the pain was suddenly gone so I thought everything was fine again. Went like: Nvm yeah I'm good let's go home. Turned out the appendix had burst, whoops🫠
