I live in the Appalachian Mountain region. Some of the things that live in these mountains are just as old as the mountains. When the animals get quiet, it means there’s a predator close & you need to be quiet, pay close attention to your surroundings & get out of the damn woods. Definitely don’t just take off running bc you’re triggering a lot of animal’s attack instincts. Just be careful, pay attention & stay on the flipping trails! Getting lost in these woods can be a death sentence.
