This might sound counterintuitive, but if you’re an ‘average person’ (like myself) then you need to ignore advice from billionaires. Yes, they’re billionaires. Yes, they’re very smart. But what they say very rarely applies to us. They’re on the news all day every day talking about stocks going up 10X, IPOs, about bubbles and crashes, about shorting the market. Not just specifically this person on DOAC. But in general, that’s what they do. They can do that, as they have billions to play with. They have complex strategies, approaches and ways to invest. For us, trying to time the market, trying to predict market crashes, is simply a losing game. It be great, but it’s simply impossible. Especially to do consistently. And doing this will mostly likely cost you money, rather than build wealth. The thing is, these rich people are always on TV. Always in the papers. They have to make predictions. As that’s their job (as Roy Keane would say 😂) Most of the time, the predictions are doom and gloom (as fear sells). And most of the time they’re wrong. Ignore the noise, stick to your long term investing plan. #finance #doac #investing #sp500
