This fried zucchini recipe is the kind of summer taverna food you order once on a Greek island (we ordered it almost every other day in Milos and Chios) and then think about for the rest of the year. Traditionally, these are called Kolokithakia Tiganita, which translates to “little zucchini, fried”. They are made the traditional way with a light sparkling water batter, shallow-fried in extra-virgin olive oil, and served with tzatziki and warm pita. The full recipe is linked in my bio! Don’t forget to pair it with my Families Viral Tzatziki (the protein dip everyone needs): 2 cups Greek Yogurt - I use @fage ¼ cup fresh dill roughly chopped 3 cloves of grated garlic 1 tsp salt ½ tsp pepper 3 tbsp lemon juice (about 1 small lemon) 1 cucumber, peeled, grated and squeezed to remove any excess liquid 3 tbsp olive oil (obviously I use my brand, available for purchase at the link in my bio)
