If anyone’s still getting insane menu lag or cutscene stutter with Frame Generation enabled on Nvidia GPUs, this fix actually works surprisingly well. You just need Nvidia Profile Inspector (v3.0.1.12), open the NTE profile, then under “05 - Upscaling and Frame Generation” change “DLSS-FG - Full-Screen Menu Detection” to “Allow (0x1)”. After applying changes and restarting the game, menus and cutscenes stop dropping to slideshow FPS. A bunch of people with 4090s, 5080s, and even laptop 4060s said it fixed the freezing/stutter instantly. Looks like it’s some weird UE5 + DLSS Frame Gen issue. Only annoying part is Nvidia driver updates can reset the setting, so you might need to reapply it later #NTE #NevernesstoEverness
