i know people hate on shauna in the later seasons BUT i am utterly fascinated by her role as the wildernesses sword. as in, she is weaponised as a tool of evil and her character is taken advantage of to employ destruction. the same way the girls consider ‘the hunt’ a necessary evil when it’s spoken through lottie as a mouthpiece and the governing of the wilderness, or how they microdose inhibitors to gain ‘knowledge’ from the wilderness, shauna is used to create discourse. lottie clearly holds favour for shauna because she recognises that the wilderness wants her to, and they’re both unhinged because of that influence. this sounds preachy and headcannon-y, but the source material is right there and i think i’m on the right track
