This is such a disingenuous take hal Jordan fans never have any problems with other green lantern fans they only do when hal is being disrespected to prop another lantern up like the parallax situation where they turned peoples beloved hero into a villain to shake things up and now with the dcu with it being a lot of people first introduction with the lanterns the whole trailer was slop with all the stuff John was saying the ring was always mine and I will be a better green lantern then he ever was and killing him off in the first episode that is not how you handle legacy character. i personally love Simon. I was born in 2002 and my parents were Muslim. I was afraid of telling other kids about my family because the couple times I did I got called a terrorist. when I picked up a comic when I was 13 and saw a Muslim man getting accused of terrorism because of prejudice, that was the first time I felt represented. Jessica is my favorite, but Simon is the most relatable to me.

I got in the GLC lately after years of bats and supes, and I just love them all so much. It’s like having so many cakes!!! There is SO many of them it’s like I have endless books to read and endless characters to love, I couldn’t imagine being so attached to JUST Hal 😭😭 why are his fans like that

Thank you for saying this!!!!! Trying to limit Green Lantern stories as if the whole point of the GLs is that there’s a whole corp with thousands of lanterns and so many story possibilities. Why not explore other really cool characters?!

i was a Hal Stan, but John and Guy are awesome, never been a big Kyle fan (mostly because he was a product of the 1990s obsession to make new extreme versions of the mains ) I really like Jessica Cruz and have not really given Simon Baz a chance
