the response to these very young college girls always blows my mind. maybe it's people who didn't go to a party college? I don't know. But I remember being in so many weird situations when I was in college (and I never lived in a party house. just 4 bedroom apartments with girls who would bring boys home). Sometimes I look back and I'm like "damn I was such a dummy" and also "damn I'm lucky to be alive" like....why were we bringing random boys to our home!? I do remember waking up once in the middle of the night to a guy yelling in the living room. he was obviously on the phone but I had no clue who he was. next thing I know...cop lights outside my window. I just rolled over and FELL BACK TO SLEEP

when i think about what it's like to be a young girl in a house with other young girls. if i saw a shadowy man with a mask, i probably would shut my door and convince myself i didn't see it, text a friend, go to her room, and wait till i had more friends to go check out upstairs. also i think the girls never saw xana, i think the guy friends went upstairs saw what happened, told the girls to stay downstairs and call 911, they were all outside when police got there.

Anybody doubting how the girls heard/saw something and then went back to sleep, watch Don’t Date Brandon. In the final ep, Brandon breaks into his ex’s house with a gun. She was in such extreme shock, she moved like a sloth and couldn’t remember the number to 911 and just stood there scrolling on her phone like nothing was happening. Shock can put you in a freeze state.

I can’t remember which ep it was but when the officers were on the scene & 1 officer says something like “she didn’t call 911 till hours later” & the other officer explains why this happens.. BECAUSE ITS COMPLETELY RATIONAL TO NOT THINK YOUR 4 HOUSEMATES WERE JUST MURDERED!! But yea let’s keep sh*tting on this very young woman who went through something so horrific that we cannot even begin to comprehend; when even the responding officers knew that was a normal response.

I’ll never understand why they think these girls were involved. Like they looked disheveled and panicked as in girls who just spent the night partying and then trauma of some sort. They didn’t look like they were manipulating of some sort.

I think the cops handled it really well considering it's a fairly small town. I also thought this doc was more informative in the first episode regarding body cam, police reaction, neighbor interviews, ect.

The cop in the documentary says the foot prints in the snow turned out to be not related so the prints must've been from one of the police officers.

Everyone can have an opinion. obviously the Moscow PD fucked up with this case. Definitely under trained. they obviously didn't think it would blow up like it did. This whole case from beginning to end was mishandled

True crime junkies think that they’re internet detectives just because they watch a lot of true crime. It’s crazy too that they argue with those who actually have a degree and experience in the field. 😂 like, nothing wrong with forming theories about a case, it’s okay to have an opinion. But we have so much more information on this case than when it first happened… and still conspiracy theorists are stuck in their whacked out mindsets. 🙄
