@drdanadpt: Hip flexion is great BUT have you even tapped in to the stability power of the Iliopsoas muscle??? . #hipflexors #hipflexorstretch #hipflexorexercise

I’ve been doing dead bugs every week for like a year and I still can’t get my pelvis to stop popping up when doing them 😵‍💫

My pelvis is definitely tilted and I feel like I have zero core strength. When I stretch or walk too much I get pain at whatever muscle is right at my tailbone. I don’t know if that is causing hip pain or if the hip pain is causing that to hurt

I also had lower back pain a lot and never realized why it could be the iliopsoas until you’re other videos. Thanks for sharing!

I think this is why I struggle when I do core exercises on the floor like ab ripper x, because I’m feeling it in front of my pelvic bone/ hip more than abs. Definitely need to strengthen my hip flexors.

I always go to your body is like a tree. You don’t see a big tree without a big trunk. If you don’t train proximal you’re going to get injured

This is exactly what is pulling and tight on me. I can’t seem to release it fully. I know it’s very weak. I can feel it pulling from both ends.

Dry needling has been so helpful for my back pain and my bad knee - is the psoas something that can be treated by dry needling or is it like too deep for that??

I have a question… when I’m on a stationary bike, my L hip flexor pulls a lot to the point where i find it uncomfortable to continue to do the workout. What should i do?

My psoas is so overactive and I just can’t get it to calm TF down. I’ve had so many hip issues and am trying so hard to avoid surgery. The pain from my iliopsoas is my biggest problem

For some reason I could do pistol squats after heavy back squats. I cannot no longer, that was 10 yrs ago & my knees are shot post rugby. I've been told too many times my flexors need training. It turned out your other video hit what ive been doing for yrs: abdominal/proximal training. I made the regimen myself & knee "disconnection" faded slowly away after some months. Sure I found out long before I saw your vid, but thank you nonetheless for teaching something objectively measured that NOBODY ive met or listened to mentioned. Youre the goat, lady. Cheers.

This is going to be long but some weird things have happened: I had been having issues since '22 and finally found the COUCH STRETCH and it was a game changer but a couple weeks ago I did it so aggressively, squeezing my ass and abs so hard then pulling my pelvis up even harder and held it for like 60 seconds and the next day I could hardly move without pain, mostly when repositioning. On day two I went to reposition and had a super intense sharp pain near the front of my sore hip and suddenly 75% of the discomfort I'd had for years was resolved! I'm still recovering from the psoas strain (?) but when that heals I'm going to be better than when I started!

I’m a massage therapist and as often as almost 50% I would say people’s “low back pain” is just super tight hip flexors from them sitting at their desk all day. People don’t realize when a muscle is shortened in a position all day and stays short and tight it starts pulling on the bones/ joints at its attachment sites. So half the time I’m also releasing their psoas as well as their low back
