get a bandsaw or file and notch those bad boys so they will be there for life. I also mark them with different color sharpies once notched.

if you bend a 45°, find the center, then you add the trade size of the conduit in front of that mark. that’s your center of 22.5°. then add 1/3 the trade size in front of and behind that mark. in front is your 15° and behind is 30°.

You can put your angle finder on the bender handle for the same effect works great for bends close to the end of the pipe also you don't have to make a ring around the entire pipe when finding center just measure to the X

super useful info. thanks man! I never realized the center of the bend actually shifts depending on the size of the bend. Do you have a way to find out the size of the bends used on an existing run?

Take ur bandsaw and just give those marks on ur bender a lil score to have permanent easy to see marks

You could have gotten your center on the side your original mark was on and avoided drawing a circle all the way around. Less room for error
