I stand by what I say on every video. Every Orpheus I have seen has been very talented, but I think Irish Orpheus has so much emotion and reality to him because he’s one of the few people that saying his natural accent the only other person who did it was Scottish Orpheus Dylan Woods. Donal’s performance is so raw and feels so real and not staged like so many of the other performers who don’t get me wrong are very talented Orpheus’s. And I think it’s because there are certain songs that he sings that he can’t quite hit the Notes or be in the right range for and that’s what makes him so real feeling. Everybody else is very different sounding and very polished. He feels real.

March 27th, 2024. We took our last break at work and I realize I left my ringer off, saw a missed call from ma and when she answered she was sobbing. Barely audible I understood “it’s your dad”. I hammered out of there mashing the gas pedal on my brothers jeep wrangler I was borrowing, turned an hour drive into 20 minutes (Jesus did that thing struggle). Just trying to see my old man one last time.
