I hope that people here hear this. I’m not with him anymore but my ex showed me how I was supposed to be loved and from there on I never expected any less. He never went a day without letting me know he loved me, paid attention to everything in my life, was never short of affection and letting me know how beautiful I was even when I didn’t feel like I was, and for the time we were with each other I never second guessed how much he adored me, nor did I ever have to repeatedly ask for his love when he gave it so freely. Despite the way we ended some part of me will always love him because he set the standard, and I pray that every girl out there can experience this love so they know to never let bare minimum be their expectations
