the only thing (I know of) that you can't do in new Austin is get the dinosaur bones as they patched it

I explored the whole dang New Austin using this method and John fell multiple times into water and oh boy I was stressed, thats it I have to restart. 🤣 Noticed that the npc John can swim! 😆 Also there is at least one gold ingot glitch at a farm in Cholla Springs which respawns after you go enough far away from it 👀

you don't even need to take john with you. just ride back to brontes, get close enough for john to park his horse but not close enough to trigger the next part. and leave him there. he'll wait

If I reload a manual save from earlier in Chapter 4 to do this glitch, can I make a new save with the extra money/items, reload back to my current Chapter 4 progress, and keep everything? Or will loading my main save lose the glitched stuff?

if you go in the cinematic camera while your horse is running it'll automatically take you to the location you have set on your map
