My grandpa raised dairy cows for a little while when my mom was a kid. I asked her if they habitually drank raw milk. She said “sure we did! Got undulant fever, too. Almost killed uncle Nolan.”

A few years ago in I think Pennsylvania some people celebrated passing a law allowing certain people to sell raw milk. They celebrated by drinking raw milk. They all got food poisoning. 🤣🤣🤣

What about her placenta comment? She was proud and bragging that she didnt read the literature given to her about childbirth or attend classes. She didnt know that she had to push out the placenta after the baby during homebirth- she found that amusing🤦🏻♀️

One time in a mom group this woman was talking about how she learned to relive the risk from raw milk by heating it to about 140 degrees and holding it there for however long. I couldn’t tell if it was a 💩 post or not.

As someone who actually milked a cow they regularly poo on their udders and teats. The teats are so rough cleaning them properly would give the cow mastitis. We boiled our milk which is more than pasteurizing.
