I live in Unalaska right now & can say I’ve seen them together. I was walking along the beach during sunrise & they were sharing a meal (a fish the eagle caught).

AESOP’S FABLES: An eagle and a fox decide to live near each other to foster a close friendship. The eagle builds her nest high in a tall tree, while the fox gives birth to her cubs in the bushes below. One day, while the fox is away foraging for food, the eagle runs out of food for her eaglets. She flies down, snatches up the fox's cubs, and feeds them to her young. When the fox returns and realizes what happened, she is devastated. Because she cannot fly, she cannot reach the eagle's nest to retaliate. She can only stand at the bottom of the tree and curse her former friend. Justice arrives swiftly. Shortly after, shepherds sacrifice a goat in a nearby field. The eagle swoops down, steals a piece of the burning meat, and brings it back to her nest. A fierce wind blows up, and a stray ember ignites the dry twigs of the nest. The nest bursts into flames, and the unfeathered eaglets tumble to the ground. The fox immediately rushes forward and devours them right in front of the eagle. Betrayal always comes back to haunt you. The fable warns that even if a powerful person thinks they are safe from the vengeance of those they have wronged, they cannot escape divine retribution or the natural consequences of their cruelty.

Search it up… the Eagle adopted the fox when it was a baby and had been abandoned. They’re been together a long time 🙏💛
