@fjords_and_alps: Did you know this place is called the Devil’s Bridge? Legend says this gorge was so dangerous that no one could build a bridge across it. Desperate, the locals made a deal with the Devil: he would build the bridge in a single night, and in return, he would claim the soul of the first living creature to cross it. By sunrise, the bridge was complete. But the villagers outsmarted him. Instead of sending a person, they sent a goat across first. Furious, the Devil grabbed a giant boulder and tried to smash the bridge. According to the legend, an old woman made the sign of the cross over the rock, forcing the Devil to drop it before he reached the bridge.
