This was the first thing i thought when i noticed how often the spider tracker or facial scanner stuff kept popping up in the movie😭🙏🙏. I was quickly taken out and reminded that this is a DISNEY movie. They have their surveillance agenda on display here and its subtle to those who dont care.

Isn’t the whole point of the movie that Peter was wrong for complying with the government? Like this logic is correct. He does worse when he actually does capture Jean, and then immediately goes to break her out once he realizes he made a mistake.

But is it just me or did Jean act like a crash out that wasn’t on par for our universe. Let me explain. In other timelines we do see mutants getting treated absolutely horribly but basically everyone but in the MCU as far as we’ve seen she’s only been hurt by damage control and her mother. How does that give her enough of a reason to hurt innocent people who had nothing to do with her sisters kidnapping. Now if we saw mutant hate in the MCU then her actions would make a lot more sense.
