I’ve had a friend with an ED tell me she wishes she’d get severe gastroparesis like me so she would be super thin like me (I was way malnourished at the time and my BMI was like 14) I just excused myself to go cry

I had a severe ED, it almost killed me. My heart was starting to fail and my potassium was so low that my doctor looked at me and very sternly said “Amber, cardiac arrest is a when, not an if at this point” and that’s what pushed me to work on it
