I’m an anxious attachment. We’re no better yall. It’s the same thing but the opposite spectrum. Why can’t our love be enough? Why won’t you spend time with us? Why won’t you communicate? We’re overbearing because we have our own abandonment issues, and if we really love our avoidants than we also need to out the work in. That means giving them space when they need it and not freaking out when they don’t text. Small messages, not long ones. Be very specific with how you word things. Put some research into how to actually talk to avoidants and go get therapy. It’s an eye opener.
