Fellow nurse here who graduated from an absn at the age of 36, I was the eldest in my class and now I work 3 12s which are long but I have 4 days off every single week some days 7 days in a row without using any pto at all . I make abt $130,000 in nyc. Plus I work per diem as Private duty , infusions etc ,

I started my PhD at 38, completely different fields than I’ve been involved in, but hey, time is going to go anyway, I might as well get a degree ! It has been a year almost, and I am almost done with my courses (one more course left, and my thesis) plus I did the comprehensive exam which is the biggest step in PhD. I am working full time, married too, but I think we give age and “time” so much thought ♥️. Life goes on. Good luck !!!

This is EXACTLY where I am now! 36, about to take 3 pre-req Art History courses this fall in order to apply for my MA in Art History and Curatorial Studies in February! I have to lock in for the next 4 months and I CANNOT fail!!!! Locking in now, see yall next year!! 😭

I have a big exam coming up, and the passing rate is almost 2%. I have only 7 months left either I can cry about the uncertainty or put my all into it, coz time is gonna pass anyway and your video gave me the motivation to go for it.🥹 We never know what may happen.

I’ve felt so burnt out with my full time job, not being able to go to nursing school at the pace I wanted because my job wouldn’t work with my schedule. Seeing your videos on my fyp lately have inspired me to really push myself this semester to pick up my GPA and make it into the rn nursing program this coming spring. 🥹
