Be productive during your planning block. Make a list. Prioritize what is a must do and may do. Then leave at 4:00 no matter what. It might be hard at first but it is a MUST for YOU! 👏🏻 (sincerely a type A/OCD on year 15 teacher)

I’m a 2:30 teacher with great scores and I don’t work from home. It comes with time. You’ll find your ways to get things planned during contract hours. There’s a lot you can do while students do independent work. I’m also type A and I always have my lessons and desk prepared for the next day before I leave. You’ll find your ways!

I leave when my contract is over🤷🏾♀️every year my students have always been over 70% proficient. I don’t work at home either. If I don’t get it done during the school day oh well.
