Two were hanged publicly this week, which right groups say is a type of punishment designed to instill fear and deter future protest. But as CBS’ Kamal Afzali reports - for some Iranians it had the opposite effect. Rights groups and UN experts have expressed deep concerns about the case involving the men, saying it was marred by a lack of due process or fair trial standards. So far, Iran has executed 26 people after convicting them of offences related to the protests in January.
