The Qur’an commands believers to send blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in Surah Al-Ahzab (33:56): إِنَاللَهَوَمَلَائِكَتَهُيُصَلُونَعَلَى النَبِيِّۚ يَا أَيُهَا الَذِينَآمَنُوا صَلُوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا Transliteration: Inna Allāha wa malā’ikatahu yuṣallūna ’ala an-nabiyy. Yā ayyuhā alladhīna āmanū ṣallū ’alayhi wa sallimū taslīmā. Meaning: “Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe, send blessings upon him and greet him with peace.” (Qur’an 33:56) This verse is the basis for reciting Salat Ibrahimiyyah and other forms of salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ then taught the Companions the specific wording of Salat Ibrahimiyyah when they asked how to fulfill this command.

Hakaramakallahu! You are wrong on this, supposedly as a learned person, you ought to have reached out to Ustaz Magaji to established the genesis behind his proposition, Ustaz Magaji was asked as to whether Solatul-Fatih can be recited during Tasbih in prayers, and he made us understand that, it's not permissible to RECITE Solatul-Fatih in Tasbih during prayers, only Solatul-Ibrahimiyyah was recommended. He further strengthen that, those who cannot recite Solatul-Ibrahimiyyah in it's entirety, should kindly says "Allahuma Solli Allah Muhammad Wa'li Muhammad Wasallim". (I was at the place where Ustaz was asked) 'I swear on my life'. I must say that, Mallam Tijani is too emotional to have defined his stance without making adequate confirmation based on the stance of Ustaz Magaji in respect to the context of Solatul-Fatih/Solatul-Ibrahimiyya. As our scholars, we must be very cautious about Religion delicate matters, this is to avoid leading us (followers) astray. Allahu-ahlam!
