FYI my dad is a 30+ year cabinetmaker and has made north of 100 kitchens for 6 and 7 figure projects for customers. I’ve helped with a few, this is almost exactly the process he follows

The only problem is that you can’t put an island on top of a floating floor! You have to cut that section out! Otherwise the floor will buckle up because it can’t move!

People don’t realize how much work goes into just the installation of cabinets! It’s attention to detail that really gives it that finished look! There is so much more involved that’s not in this 2 minute video!

If that is LVP or any other floating floor it will not expand and contract properly

It's way easier to build and level a single ladder for all the cabinets than a square for each one.

Looks great. Just save some time and cut 2 2x4's for the front and back. No need to make a box. Also lay them flat. No need for L-brackets. Just screw them to the floor. Also save the tape on the floor. Use a line laser when screwing down said 2x4's. Everything else looks good. We can all learn something from anyone. Thanks for putting yourself out there and sharing.

Our pros secure it much better than some 1” screws that doesn’t even penetrate sub floor

What you could do is put a sheet of plywood down where the cabinets will sit before installing them. That way, if you ever need to replace the hardwood flooring, you can do it without having to remove the cabinets. Just a thought!
