The Peruvian Desert Cat Project’s 2025 Annual Report reveals the 𝒖𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒕 𝑷𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒔 𝑪𝒂𝒕, 𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔, 𝒓𝒐𝒂𝒅 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔, 𝒉𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒕 𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒍𝒚 𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚. From building predator-proof coops and providing veterinary training to educating drivers, inspiring young conservationists, and pursuing legal protection for thousands of hectares of vital dry forest, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.
