All the opposite. When professors are really nice I felt terrible about not paying attention or not doing what they asked me to do. So I put them as priority just because of that 🤭🤭🤭

This is so true. My math teacher was so mean to me no matter what I did and it honestly made my learning worse

YES! My first experience in a lab was really hard because the PI would publicly humiliate his grad students and RAs whenever they made mistakes. I became super anxious around him, and it was really hard for me to make progress in that lab. I’m so glad I transferred to another lab with a much healthier lab culture😊.
