Yesterday it was Wang Wang. Today it is Rocky. Who will be next? Rocky's life came to an end. Not because of a natural disaster. Not because of illness. But because of human cruelty. Before justice could even be served for Wang Wang, another heartbreaking tragedy unfolded—Rocky was allegedly strangled to death. Soon after, reports emerged of a seller allegedly promoting poison that could be used to kill stray dogs. 🖤 Some people are not saving lives. They are teaching others how to take them. 🖤 Elsewhere, a mother dog had already been dead for two days. Her tiny puppies, still too young to understand, remained curled up beside her, desperately trying to nurse from a mother who would never wake up again. 💔 They didn't know she wasn't just sleeping. They didn't know she would never open her eyes again. 💔 Then came another tragedy. A suspected mass dog poisoning incident in Kajang's Semenyih Industrial Area reportedly claimed the lives of around 50 stray dogs. 🖤 One... Ten... Twenty... In the end, around fifty innocent lives were gone. 💔 They had never harmed anyone. They simply believed that the food by the roadside might help them survive one more day. 💔 And then there are the stray dogs who are chased, provoked, and cornered. When they react out of instinct to protect themselves, they become the ones blamed. 💔 ... What has happened to humanity? When did abusing animals become entertainment? When did taking innocent lives become something people take pleasure in? When did kindness become something so rare? Where has our humanity gone? Where has our conscience gone? Where has our compassion gone? If we continue to stay silent today, the next innocent life to fall will not be the last. 💔 Please don't let Rocky, Wang Wang, and the countless unnamed animals leave this world in vain.
