now people are concerned. Ever since I have moved to Dover there has been shootings. But no one cared because it was in black neighborhoods. Look now people want to talk about it because it's no longer in just the black neighborhoods. When the people was talking about it a couple of years ago no one wanted to do nothing about it

And again just another reason I think placing the safety fee on the businesses and not the whole town is completely asinine. Public safety affects everyone, so funding it shouldn't fall disproportionately on businesses. If the city needs a safety fee, it needs to apply to everyone so all residents and entities share the responsibility and accountability equally. Implementing the fee, not only will put people in a position to feel accountable to make our city safer again, where they can eventually get rid of the fee, but also placing the fee on the businesses is like asking us to pay to be safe at our own jobs! That is why I specifically think this whole thing is not the police chief. This needs to be police specifically on the mayor politicians and even the city council.
