@alexanderelorenzo: Wall Street's 234 year closing bell just got a meeting date. How we're taking advantage of news like this is inside skool.com/coinpicksgenesis, link in my bio, a dollar a month. July 23, 2026. The SEC announced a roundtable for September 17 on 24 hour trading in US stocks. Chairman Atkins said he looks forward to US equity markets aligning with those markets that already trade continuously. Read that again. American stocks trade 9:30 to 4:00, Monday through Friday. The only thing that trades continuously is crypto. That is the entire list. It isn't only the SEC. On May 29 the CFTC put out a staff advisory on 24/7 trading, clearing and settlement, and the comment window on running futures around the clock closes August 26. On July 22 Senate Republicans released 616 pages of updated Clarity Act text. Markets don't close because of technology. They close because settlement is partly manual and people go home at night. Blockchain settlement needs nobody awake. Crypto never won the argument. It set the standard, and the institution that used to fight it is copying it. This is a roundtable, not a rule. Nobody has voted yet. That is exactly why you position early. Follow for the moves the news skips.
